FACULTY OUTING?!

Hey Athena!

The term has just started and things have been pretty quiet and dreary… BUT there’s something we can all look forward to this term! IT’S THE LONG AWAITED ATHENA FACULTY OUTING! O:O:O:

It’s going to be absolutely athena-ly awesome! In order to make it a memorable night of fun-filled events and performances, we’re calling all enthusiastic performers to bring their talents to the stage. We’re looking for bands or singers or any other unconventional performances, so don’t be afraid to come down for an audition. In Athena, no one is an amateur!

Auditions will be held from 9-13th April, so if you’re interested, feel free to contact your (J2) CT reps! Keep your eyes peeled for more updates on fac blog too. In the meantime, form your bands and think of creative performances, but most of all, ANTICIPATE ATHENA FO 2012.

dear athenians:)

just wanted to say we’re really proud of yall for doing such a great job today!!

we hope you had a good time (with your friends, with the cans, with the little kids that smiled at you as you walked past their doors), but more importantly, we hope that it was meaningful for you, and not just another normal saturday. we hope that you’ve witnessed and were touched by people’s generosity and love:) Yeah it was hard work on a very very hot day, but you saw for yourselves the families streaming into and out of the center, the bags and bags of food that they were carrying, and we hope that in the end, you, like us, will find it all worth it.

Dear C1 Athenians:

Due to lack of parent volunteers, we will mainly be relying on the Family Service Center’s vehicle to go round collecting the cartons of can food. Therefore, we need you to identify collection point(s) BY FRIDAY 23rd March, 12 NOON.

Label the collection point(s) on the maps provided (like in the sample below) and email it to ambertan1994@gmail.com

If your class has already found parent volunteers, please also drop an email to let us know.

Fac Hoodie Is Finally Here!!!

Hey Athenians!

The long-awaited faculty hoodie has arrived!!!!!!!!!! 😀 For those who are undecided, here’s a few photos of the hoodie with our fac princess’11!:

JUNIORS, we know you guys are very interested in the fac hoodie! We will be selling them tomorrow at A409 from 4pm. For those with budget constraints, fret not! The fac hoodie is priced at an affordable price of $15 (:O:O:O:O:O!!!).
