dear athenians:)

just wanted to say we’re really proud of yall for doing such a great job today!!

we hope you had a good time (with your friends, with the cans, with the little kids that smiled at you as you walked past their doors), but more importantly, we hope that it was meaningful for you, and not just another normal saturday. we hope that you’ve witnessed and were touched by people’s generosity and love:) Yeah it was hard work on a very very hot day, but you saw for yourselves the families streaming into and out of the center, the bags and bags of food that they were carrying, and we hope that in the end, you, like us, will find it all worth it.
