The time for Dramafeste has come once again. We’ll be needing an impressive troop of actors and backstage crew this year to work hard, play hard, and own the stage!

Dramafeste is an annual play event organised by ELDDFS, where the four faculties come together to each present a unique play capturing a common theme. As the C2 students are busy studying like mad for the upcoming block test, it’s up to the C1s to take on the noble task of representing Athena in this honourable event.

Want to be casted? Auditions will take place on Wednesday, 8 Feb, 5pm to 7pm at LT3! No prior experience needed, just come with an open mind and a desire to have fun.

Have stage frights? Fret not! We are also recruiting crew to help out with the props and tech, or just people in general to go crazy and have fun. It’s a once in a lifetime experience, and you’d definitely want to be a part of it!

Here are the timeslots for Athena’s dance practise sessions, in case any of you J2s want to come crash and learn or something.

7th February, Tuesday: 1400-1600 Inner Plaza
9th February, Thursday:  1530-1730 BPA
10th February, Friday: 0800-1000 Central Plaza, 1530-1700 Hall
11th February, Saturday: 0800-1000 Central Plaza (for the rest of the day as well!)

Additionally, we’ll be at the stage outside Audi every morning from 7am to teach the dance, so anyone who wants to learn may just drop by!

We hope you’ve been looking forward for the new fac dance after the faculty meeting last Wednesday!

We’ve decided to open up teaching to all the Athenians!

Anyone who wants to learn the new dance, come to the stage outside auditorium! We’ll be there every morning from 7am onwards to teach the dance!

This is a little late, but happy Chinese New Year!

Hope you’ll spend the next couple of days catching up with your families, brushing up your mahjong skills, or just getting fat from all the CNY goodies!

Of course, do remember to get back on track with your work and fitness before school reopens, J2′s going to pass so super fast you won’t remember having much time to slack around ><
