Helloo Athenians!

This might come as a little bit late but we sure hope you all enjoyed yourselves during G-Rated. On 7th May, from 5.30-9.30pm the faculty came down for a time of games, fun, performances and last but not least, bonding (: So for those who have forgotten and simply want to relive the memories, here’s just a brief recap of what took place!

We had performances – thank you to all performers for performing!

We had the crowning of this year’s faculty prince & princess – thank you all FPP nominees for your extremely enthusiastic participation, and congrats to David & Priscilla, our FPP

We also had the crowning of the Green Kings, a special collaborative effort between senior and junior class! Congrats to Chong Hwee and Jing Yao from S64

We certainly hope you had fun and had a great time interacting with your fellow Athenians & classmates!

Thank you all Athenians for the support you’ve showed us, and for being such a great faculty. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better, and even as we step down, we hope you give the new fac comm the same amount of support we’ve received

Don’t cry because it’s over, but smile because it happened. We’re ecstatic, because the fac comm journey has been such a meaningful one, and serving all of you was our pleasure

Hello Athenians!

THIS IS SUPER URGENT!

USE YOUR NEW URBAN MALE VOUCHERS (the one from G-Rated) BY TOMORROW!!

Okay the website says 17th May, but if you look at the printed voucher itself, it says 16th May, 11pm! So, better be safe than sorry!

This goes out to all those who have clicked and ‘redeemed’ the vouchers online, but have not used it to buy anything. The vouchers must be printed off the bearbulous website (http://www.bearbulous.com/deals/hwachong) and they can only be used at Cineleisure’s New Urban Male.

NUM apparently closes at 10pm, according to inSing.com, so we can chiong there after school tomorrow to shop

ESPIRITO VERDE!

We came. We cheered. We ran. We lost ourselves in the milo van. We ran again. We cheered again because we ran. Repeat the above.

This year’s CSM passed with fleeting ease as both our J1 and J2 boys braved the excruciating heat and their competition to clinch the gold medal for the 4x100m and 16x200m relay. That’s 4 races in all, in case you’re still working the math.

Over at the swimming pool, meanwhile, both our J1 and J2 boys (same expression, different people) gave the water their touch of green by clinching the gold medal (same expression, different things, too) for both swim relays.

The J1 girls emerged fourth (no third runners-up, please) in the 4x100m relay, and third in the 16x200m one. Inspired by their fight, the J2 girls proceeded to take the third place in both corresponding events.

In case you’re wondering,

We are PROUD of you all!

Until next year, keep the green spirit alive and fire in you burning. And remember to work those biceps between your flurry of tutorials and oily canteen food. Yes, girls too. It’s the stuff that holds us down tape by the ground, or, in our case, by the grass.

Special thanks to Yong Hwee and Bryan for coordinating the attendance endlessly, and to everyone who showed our imba ATHENIAN SPIRIT to the rest of the school!

Fret not and just follow these simple instructions!

Take any of these buses to this bus stop.

Or if you’re exiting from Marina Square, stay on the same side of the road and walk straight (towards Millenia Walk).

Walk towards Milllenia Walk.

Walk past Promenade MRT station (exit at exit A if you’re coming by MRT)…

… to reach this junction!

Cross to the other side of the road and continue walking in the direction that you were previously!

You’ll then walk past this temporary SBS office:

And reach here!

Walk towards this building…

And enter here!

And voila! Then have a great night filled with fun
