Here’s an update on the YOG in case you have been missing some action.
Jabez Su and Russel Low (both from 10S68) have put up great performance in the 3-on-3 basketball. Even though Singapore did not manage to get any wins against their strong, bigger competitors, our YOG team has put up a tough showing. Singapore is also noted to be the first team to score more than 20 points against the team from USA which is deemed the strongest team in the competition. In the newspaper article, Jabez received praise from the USA’s captain for his fast reflexes and amazing skills.
In other sporting events, athletes such Timothy Tay (10S7N) and Rania Herlinda Rahardja ( 10S6F) has performed well in the Artistic Gymnastics and Fencing respectively. We still have a couple of representatives still competing so let’s wish them all the best!
To the J1s, how have your SPA been? Hope it is all going fine

This week has been a pretty uneventful week but look forward to Teacher’s Day Celebration and September Holidays YAYYYYYY! Endure, Endure and Endure for another 2 weeks.

School life is really getting busier and busier! J1s have lecture tests and pw to deal with! And J2s are busy preparing for their prelims!
While we are all busy with school work, please don’t forget to rest well! Remember to find time to relax and also take care of your health. Let’s not fall sick during this hectic period of school life!

Inception has been up for quite long and we are sure many people have watched it! The plot is very unique and it gets people thinking and guessing about the ending after watching the show.
And here is another exciting movie that many people are anticipating!
Watching movie is always a good way to relax when you are feeling stressed! But don’t be sad if you are not able to watch movies in the cinema due to the all the homework that’s piling up and the upcoming lecture tests or exams haunting you! We can always wait for nicer and more exciting shows during the holidays when we are all finally free! So let’s JIAYOU for now!
We believe all of you should have noticed the super nice banner of Fantasia, the theme for this year’s Senior Promenade! And for all the J2s who have watched the FANTASIA video, it’s starring our own Dep Fac Head, DENNIS WOO! HCSC has surely put a lot of effort in making the video, so two thumbs up for them! Those who were absent and have not had the chance to view it (or even curious J1s), GO to Facebook NOWWWW because the video is REALLY HILARIOUS and worth your time. It is also a great way to get refreshed after hours of doing work.
