We are soo excited to welcome the new batch of Athenians, the new addition to our family (who are ready to be brainwashed with the Athenian doctrines heeheehee) that we stayed up 'till late... painting our banner [:

So excited that all of us got tired...  but then again, fatigue is just, well... fatigue and it doesn't mean anything when it comes to BANNER PAINTING for Orientation!! ATHENA AHOOT!

At the end of the day, it wasn’t the sumptuous dinner that we ate, it wasn’t the amount of calories that we burned, it wasn’t the intelligent discussion that we had, but it was the GREEN SPIRIT that compelled us to keep painting, to showcase the Greatness of the Green Faculty, to bring pride and glory to Athena and of course… to make you all feel more welcome and at home.

On the day where Ad Infinitum began, nothing beat our satisfaction when people saw the banner and commented “OMG I LIKE THE BANNER. ATHENA IS SO IMBA. DID THEY ACTUALLY PRINT IT OUT???” or sth like that x]

May Athena impart her wisdom to you [: haha hope to see you in Athena YEAHH!

It’s time for ORIENTATION 2010: AD INFINITUM.

Do get ready to have a blast and the time of your life as you enter the beginning of a fun-filled 2 years ahead!

If you’re probably wondering about things like what faculties are about, do not worry! You’ll soon get to love your faculty soon enough, be it red, yellow, blue or GREEN!

Keep your spirits high, and may all potential Athenians love the skies, spread your wings and soar!

HAPPY 2010 ATHENA!

in 2009,

we’ve accomplished so much together as one faculty.

since the very start of 2009 at orientation, when we gathered not knowing what we were getting ourselves into,

our first gathering

our beloved senior fac comm in war games preparation

our cute zombie owl?!

the nostalgic “put your hoods up”

our first school event, Greenworks

to our end-of-year Ju-On.

while these pictures are definitely insufficient to encapsulate the entire year’s event,

has been our family for the entire year, guiding us through our j1 life.

now as for our dearest graduated seniors, we sincerely thank you for being a great part of our lives, without which things like STJ and after class bench life would not be as fulfilling.

Our senior fac comm and faculty teachers, we simply can’t express enough gratitude for teaching us the ways of this awesome faculty and be rest assured that we will pass this great spirit on to the new batch of J1s in 2010 as they step forth in their Hwa Chong journey.

Finally, YOU! The Athena Faculty Committee thanks you for being a great supportive faculty of our events and just being so high for no much justifiable reasons.
